There are plenty of private schools in Singapore offering international diploma and bachelor’s degree. Which are the better/preferred schools? I’m considering a general business or mass communications degree. Am also hoping to look for an affordable course within the 20-30k range. University of Buffalo by SIM charges a whopping 50-60k and its way too expensive for a communications degree for me!

I think Uni-sim will definitely be recognised in SG. Just recently they announced that they will have a law degree course targeting matured adults.

I have a friend who studied in PSB – Pharmaceutical Sciences. Her friend and her both almost failed their degree because they mentioned that the standard was way too high and too difficult to keep up with.
Perhaps a no-no to PSB for Science-related degrees?

I know of a few more common private schools in SG:

Unisim – Has government grant for Singaporean students
Kaplan – This is by far the most popular private school
PSB Academy
MDIS
