Hi, I am looking around for a good Lego robotics class for my child. I know that there are quite a few schools running Lego robotics camps during the school holidays.. some that I have enquired with include Wonderworks, Worklab, Bricks 4 kidz, etc. Does anyone have any experience with them? Or does anyone has other Lego robotics classes to recommend?

TIA!

Hi, have u explored this?

http://www.ducklearning.com/DLhome/whatson/58-robotics-jr-courses-for-infocomm-schools

I like their philosophy.

It all started when we were tasked by an educational organisation to select a character development workshop provider to train a group of young, first-time student leaders.

We researched on many providers in the market and realised a similar pattern among all the providers. Each provider uses its standard workshop format where students are made to conform into a specific type of leader. Essentially a cookie-cutter approach.

This did not fit well with our belief that every student has a personal style of learning and will develop into a unique individual based on his background, prior knowledge and values, and hence a unique style of leadership.

We reported our findings and could not in good conscience recommend any of the providers to the educational organisation. The educational organisation then tasked us to develop a workshop that caters to the different learning styles of students while achieving the required learning outcomes.

Thus Duck Learning was formed.

Since then, we have developed several types of workshops to meet the needs of different educational organisations and their students. All the while remaining true to our belief. We also made sure that the Duck Learning experience includes superior material design, effective facilitation and incorporates the development of 21st century skills.

Every workshop conducted by Duck Learning is designed to allow and encourage students to use their personal learning styles and develop their true potential.

U might want to try http://www.in3labs.com/holiday-workshop/

IN3LABS was born when our educators were getting numerous feedback from schools and parents about the lack of quality educational and enrichment options that emphasizes on meeting the growing needs for Science, Techonology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) in education for a world that is increasingly automated and technology reliant.
