For English, I would agree that British Council is pretty good! If you are looking for a pre-school for your child to enrol in. I have had experience with Clifford Kindergarden. Their curriculum is very good and they have an equal balance of play/study for the children. It is located at Hougang Street 21. Over 20 years and they are still there.

My experience with Steven tuition centre was great. They have good Chinese curriculum classes in place and they focus a lot on composition writing.

Used to be located at Kovan, but now I think they have an outlet in Yishun and another in Hougang.

For English, I think British Council is really good. They are very well established.

I recommend Julia Gabriel.
Well, u might think that it’s ang-moh school but i like the fact that they have Native Chinese speakers to engage children in fun and creative lessons with their range of EduDrama, Early Readers, Creative Writing and Chinese Cultural Arts classes in Mandarin! Kids are more used to this sort of learning methods thus easy for them to learn Mandarin the same way!
I believe the age group starts from 3 years, pls check with them directly.

Thanks @concerned dad! i went to their website and was happy to see that they have a Chinese version.  But when i clicked on the Program, it was in English and nothing in Chinese.  Anyway, if you have other recommendations, pls keep them coming!

Check this one up. I know people queuing up to register for this kindergarten but that was many years ago. Good to pay them a visit onsite :)

My personal experience is better to get an experienced Chinese tutor who speaks little English!
